Year 5 Class Page

Welcome to Year 5. In Year 5, the children are taught by Mrs Flaherty (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Sullivan (Thursday to Friday) and we are very fortunate to also have the support of Mrs. Lines.

This year, we embrace the guidance of our class saint, St. Maximilian Kolbe, who serves as an exceptional role model for us. He inspires us to live in the likeness of Christ and to live our life full of faith like he did.

We are excited to explore a wide range of subjects that will challenge and inspire your child. Our curriculum is designed to engage students in meaningful learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. From English and Maths to Science and History, we provide a well-rounded education that prepares children for future success.

As a Catholic school, we focus on Gospel virtues in everything we do. We believe in teaching children important values such as kindness, honesty, and compassion. These virtues are at the heart of our curriculum and help shape our students into caring and responsible individuals.

We understand the importance of working in partnership with parents to support the learning and development of every child. Communication is key, and we welcome your involvement in your child's education journey. Together, we can ensure that each child reaches their full potential and grows into confident and resilient learners.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead filled with learning, growth, and fun! If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our Year 5 curriculum, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
